What is Dashboard Learning?
The dash, or en dash (“–”), is a punctuation mark used to indicate a span or range, most commonly connecting dates or periods of time (e.g. 2015–2020). It conveys what could otherwise be expressed by the words “through” or “to” and symbolically links the beginning and end of different phases in life. The “–” represents the journey and process within each phase of one’s learning, career, and personal development.
A dashboard is a panel containing instruments and controls that allows a user to monitor and adjust performance. In a digital context, it provides a visual representation of key data relevant to an organisation or group. With a dashboard, users can access essential information and metrics, enabling them to make informed adjustments and improvements as needed.
At Dashboard Learning, we provide clients with a learning “dashboard” – a framework that offers clarity and control over their learning journey (the “–” connecting the start and end of their development). Our approach ensures that learners have the insights and tools they need to achieve their goals, making the learning experience meaningful, engaging, and fulfilling, particularly in the context of professional growth.
