The dash, or en dash (“–”), is a punctuation mark used to indicate a span or range of values, most notably to connect dates or two periods of time (e.g. 2015 – 2020), signifying what may otherwise be communicated by the words “through” or “to” in the English language. Connecting the start and end of different phases in life, the “–” is the most significant part of each phase in one’s learning, career and life as it represents the process that is taken from start to end. 

A dashboard is a physical panel that usually contains instruments and controls for a user to adjust as needed, or, in the context of a website, a visual representation of various data relevant to a particular organisation or group. With a dashboard, one has access to information and statistics about how something is working, and how one can adjust or improve the information when necessary.
